***What do those designations mean? Why should I work with a CRS?*** The Certified Residential Specialist designation is like the Master's Degree of Real Estate. In order to achieve the designation, an agent must have closed a certain dollar volume of business and passed advanced level real estate courses. Less than 5% of Virginia Real Estate Agents have earned this designation.
